Real Wedding ~ Cassie and Gaines

It was a beautiful Georgia day for Cassie and Gaines gorgeous Southern wedding photographed by our talented long-time friend, Kellie Kano. Cassie wore a gown by Augusta Jones, customized by Muna Couture and accessorized with Christian Louboutin heels that she searched high and low for until she finally found the perfect pair in NYC. She added a spectacular vintage bracelet from House of Lavande that she found on the afterthoughts page of the Winter 2008 issue of Weddings Unveiled. We love the Lela Rose bridesmaid dresses in royal blue and clover and Cassie's flirty, short reception dress by Sue Wong. Don't miss the groom and groomsmen's old-school bow tie and cumberbund combination and yes... they are in pastel blue and peach. The reception was held at The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort with decor in a palette of soft pink and lavender with accents of muted, mossy green. Florist Edward on Saint Simons created stunning centerpieces and arrangements of pink roses, lilac and lavender hydrangeas and greenery and Super T and the Tyrone Smith Revue kept everyone on their feet. For more of Cassie and Gaines wedding, visit Kellie Kano's blog.

Real Wedding ~ Andrea and Noah

Amidst today's shopping madness, take some time out to enjoy this fabulous fall day and these lovely images of Andrea and Noah's Atlanta, GA wedding sent to us by Kristen Alexander Photographers. The event had a soft, autumn-inspired look, designed in a muted palette of deep chocolate, burnt orange and soft ivory. Foxgloves & Ivy created standout arrangements for the Atlanta Botanical Garden nuptials, including pretty aisle treatments and similar reception centerpieces on a much grander scale amidst flickering candles for a warm, intimate atmosphere. Visit the Kristen Alexander Photographers blog to see more of Andrea and Noah's pretty event!

Real Wedding ~ Hilary and Jared

Hilary and Jared's Sarasota, FL wedding planned by the always amazing Table 6 Productions and photographed by Phillip Lloyd Photography was designed in a palette of pristine white and ruby red accented by pale Tiffany blue. The striking combination added drama to the decor for their outdoor ceremony at The Ritz-Carlton, held on a perfectly manicured lawn. A magnificently draped chuppah covered in white roses was created by Redman Steel Floral Design and a spectacular swirl design wove its way down the aisle made from brilliant red rose petals. Guests were seated in all white chairs while silver julep cups filled with red roses hung from the aisle seats. Red roses covered the reception tables in low, massed arrangements and the clever detail of standing, open parasols added height and cinematic flair to the tablescape. Enjoy!

Real Wedding ~ Michelle and Anthony

We were blown away by the exquisite details in Michelle and Anthony's ultra-glam, ultra-chic Atlanta, GA wedding planned by Lemiga Events. Blue World Studios created spectacular images of the grand affair held at the Georgian Ballroom at the Biltmore beneath sparkling chandeliers. Custom wedding papers created by Ink & Paint featured a pretty chartreuse design reminiscent of the detailing in the Georgian's magnificent ceilings. The event's base palette of white, chartreuse and latte accented by fuchsia came to life in sophisticated arrangements created by our talented friend, florist Amy Osaba, whose work appears in the current Fall 2009 issue of Weddings Unveiled. Sharon of Sweet Sensations designed Michelle and Anthony's wedding cake using Michelle's gown as inspiration for the classic confection. To see more of Michelle and Anthony's luxe soiree, visit the Blue World Studios blog and Lemiga's blog for a full recap.

Real Wedding ~ Bethany and Kenny

Virginia based photographer Adam Barnes sent us Bethany and Kenny's lovely lakeside wedding. If you're an avid fan of TLC's Say Yes to the Dress you may recognize Bethany, who was featured finding her Le Spose Di Gio gown at Kleinfeld's famous Manhattan store. The simple silhouette was ideal for the outdoor venue and we love the nautical details scattered throughout the decor. Florist Sharon Lester created innovative aisle arrangements of greenery tucked into knotted ropes to adorn the ceremony chairs, along with pretty massed bouquets and reception arrangements that included pieces of coral. The fresh palette of white and green also dominated the reception decor with the addition of vibrant bright orange splashes found in bright paper lanterns strung above the dance floor and orange soda chilled in an old canoe repurposed as a drink cooler. The Key West Band played while guests dined and danced the night away with a lakeside view. For more of Bethany and Kenny's wedding, visit Adam Barnes Fine Art Photography.

Day After Session ~ Jessa and Barrett

How much do we love Erik Clausen of Poser Image? We can't stretch our arms out wide enough to accurately describe our admiration for his work. His combination of edgy modernism, striking composition and cinematic portraiture offers a unique viewpoint for wedding photography. As an example, we couldn't wait to show you Jessa and Barrett's day-after session photographed on the streets of Atlanta. The gritty, urban setting provides a striking contrast to Jessa and Barrett's formal wedding attire and Jessa's sweetly feminine gown gains a dramatic edge against a backdrop of graffiti. And really, who knew a parking garage could look so good? For a full recap of their wedding day visit the Poser blog!
