Real {Destination} Wedding ~ Chelsea and Reese

Chelsea and Reese chose the Riviera Maya in Mexico for their intimate destination nuptials photographed by Melissa Schollaert. They found inspiration in the spectacular seaside setting for their event palette of white, soft khaki, pastel blue and fresh green. Chelsea carried a tightly formed bouquet of white roses and green hydrangea while her bridesmaids wore pastel blue dresses by Priscilla of Boston and carried white parasols. The groomsmen wore summery khaki suits with white shirts, while the groom wore the same, but added a pale blue tie. Glass hurricanes lined the dark-stained wooden plank aisle, while two square white columns topped by arrangements of white and green blooms framed its end. Chocolate chivari chairs were set with bright white cushions, while a rustic wooden canopy hung with billowing sheer organza formed the centerpiece of the ceremony, flanked on either side by white organza pennants blowing in the ocean breeze.

A mariachi band entertained guests as they entered the reception at the Azul Sensatori by Karisma, where tables were dressed in crisp white linens topped with arrangements of branches intertwined with white sweet peas. We love the white paper lanterns strung overhead and the pretty green and blue damask design of the wedding papers, found on the menu cards, place cards and table numbers.
