Real Wedding ~ Katie and Hans

With so many details packed into one event, it's easy to see why our good friend, photographer Alea Moore, was excited to send us Katie and Hans' gorgeous Atlanta, GA wedding! Inspired by peacocks, the event palette was based on a brilliant blue accented by a variety of deep violets and bright greens. Katie wore a dramatic bead and crystal embellished t-back gown, while her bridesmaids wore one-shouldered floor-length gowns in bold peacock blue with bright blue pashminas. Moss Floral created a bouquet of white roses with black and white feather accents for Katie, while her bridesmaids carried bouquets of purple anemones, greenery and peacock feathers. The ceremony at the Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery featured a striking branched centerpiece entertwined with white lights and hung with a wreath of white orchids. Tall pillar candles set in wrought iron post lanterns lined the aisle, while arrangments of deep violet blossoms, curly willow and votives were set on columns at the aisle entrance. Darryl Wiseman Flowers created a variety of bold centerpieces for the reception in purples, greens and blues, made from hothouse orchids, hydrangea, curly willow branches, peacock feathers, ornamental grasses and bright green spider mums. Deep gold chargers were set against black linens with circular menu cards in black calligraphy script, black napkins and a single peacock feather. Cloisonne-like table number cards featured a vibrant peacock and a vine motif while blue and white peacock cookies were given to the guests as favors.
