Real Wedding ~ Leigh and Dan

We love the details from Leigh and Dan's chic winter wedding in Wilmington, NC photographed by our good friends Amanda and Brent Holloman of Millie Holloman Photography. The event combined organic, natural elements with an urban, uptown feel for a sophisticated, modern look in a palette of mossy green and white. Dan's boutonniere was wrapped with twine, while Leigh carried a bouquet of mixed white blooms and greenery wrapped in burlap and a moss-covered wreath was hung on the wooden door of Kenan Chapel for their ceremony. Guests arrived for the reception at Balcony on the Dock to find tables dressed in rustic burlap linens and set with pristine white chairs. Centerpieces were made from birch vases filled with white snapdragons and hydrangea and glass apothecary jars filled with moss and white blossoms. Leigh and Dan's whimsical custom monogram appeared on everything from the white ceremony programs tied with chocolate ribbon to their spectacular cake created by Flower and Flour. The four-tier confection featured bright leaf borders and a delicate, intricate white and green snapdragon design made of sugar to mirror the reception arrangements.
