Real Wedding ~ Kiley and Matthew

Kiley and Matthew's charming wedding in Winnsboro, SC was photographed by our good friend Ashley Brokop and featured a ton of lovely DIY details. Matthew's father's property provided a spectacular setting amidst towering pines and picturesque lake views. Kiley wore the same dress her grandmother wore for her wedding in 1952 and added a pair of ivory peep toe pumps, a birdcage veil and waist cinching sash. Her bridesmaids wore pale yellow retro-inspired party dresses with full skirts and carried gathered bouquets of cream and yellow roses, baby's breath and vibrant canary yellow gerbera daisies. Matthew and his groomsmen wore khaki summer suits with white button downs and Matthew added a pale yellow tie to match the event palette.

The ceremony was held in a clearing beneath a natural arbor of pines, where Kiley and Matthew exchanged vows in front of a wrought iron canopy flanked by two tall columns topped with sprays of green foliage. The country-vintage theme was realized in a host of DIY details for the tented reception, including artwork painted on pieces of wood that hung on trees throughout the property. The guest tables were dressed in white linens with gathered centerpiece arrangements in recycled glass jars and cans of roses and gerber daisies in the event palette of pale and canary yellow, cream and white. 100% compostable cutlery, cups and plates were featured from Eco Products, while the all-vegan menu prepared by the groom included their beautiful four-tier pastel green cake with lace ribbon trim and love birds cake topper. Twinkle lights and paper lanterns were strung above the dance floor and we {heart} the adorable picture of Kiley and Matthew sharing their first dance as their dog looked on.
