Real Wedding ~ Megan and Stahl

Megan and Stahl tied the knot at Vista West Ranch in Austin, TX in a happy celebration of their union and their love for the baby boy they're expecting this fall. The Nichols along with second shooter Sherry Hammonds Photography photographed the event, taking advantage of the brilliant sunlit landscape to create spectacular images of the bride and groom. Megan wore a soft strapless gown with an empire waist and flowing Grecian silhouette. She wore her dark hair loose and carried a bouquet of a variety of white blooms including hydrangea and gardenia accented by leafy greenery and fern curls. Stahl wore a black suit and cowboy boots and they exchanged vows in front of an arbor decorated with masses of greenery and white flowers.

The reception was held inside the barn where the decor and details were designed to blend with the rustic venue's weathered wood, aged tin and stained concrete floors. Tables were covered in muted beige linens and set with centerpieces of silver ornamental lanterns, scattered amber glass hearts and small arrangements of of pine sprigs and hydrangea in vintage glassware. A variety of cupcakes were displayed on glass pedestals along with Megan and Stahl's wedding cake, topped by a nest of three blue eggs. The two larger eggs were labeled "mr." and "mrs.", while the third smaller represented the coming addition to their family. Globes made of grapevine and white lights were strung overhead, giving the evening a warm glow and the tin walls of the barn provided the perfect backdrop for the couple's fun smilebooth.
