Real Wedding ~ Neera and Dave

Neera and Dave's wedding was a spectacular all day affair celebrating their two cultures, photographed by the talented husband and wife photography team, The Schultzes. Asheville Event Co. coordinated the entire wedding day at the gorgeous historic Biltmore Estate. The day began with a traditional hindu ceremony at sunrise designed in a rich wedding palette of ivory and whites, gold and deep reds. The courtyard at Deerpark provided an enchanting setting for the ceremony blending the romance of the gardens with the rich cultural ceremony. Neera wore a stunning red sari with gold embroidery and accessorized with a gorgeous collection of ornate jewels and a fabulous pair of red suede peep toe pumps with ruffled detailing. She made a grand entrance into the ceremony carried on a gold doli draped with red fabric. Neera and Dave sat in brilliant white carved chairs during the ceremony, while guests sat around the courtyard on gold silk cushions with beautiful gold and burgundy pillows as they watched on.

After the Hindu ceremony the celebration continued with an American wedding reception at night. Neera wore a beautiful strapless A-line gown paired with silver flats adorned with jewels and a white orchid blossom in her dark locks. Dave complimented her in a black suit with white button down, apple green tie and white orchid boutonniere. The reception was designed in a simple clean palette of natural hues, including crisp white, fresh green and brown. Pretty black and green designed placecards welcomed guests as they entered in a wood tray of green seeds. Each placecard featured a mathematical equation that had to be solved in order to decipher which table you were to sit at. Guest tables were draped in brilliant white linens with a variety of gorgeous centerpieces designed by Blossoms at Biltmore Park. Low arrangements of white hydrangea blossoms set in square vases decorating half the tables, while tall arrangements with vases filled with green apples and branches adorned with hanging votives decorated the others.
