Real Wedding ~ Jessica and Jon

Jessica and Jon's wedding at the Clifton Inn in Charlottesville, VA was sent to us by photographers Phil and Mindy of Phindy Studios. Situated in the heart of Charlottesville, the stately Southern mansion and its spectacular 100 acre setting in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains offered a pristine natural setting with the feel of old Southern elegance. The wedding was designed in a palette of purples and pinks, ranging from the palest lavender to deep violet and pinks from vibrant fuchsia to soft rose petal. Jessica wore a beautiful sweetheart strapless gown with gently ruched bodice and soft tiered skirt accented with a waist cinching sash adorned with fabric rosettes. She added a pair of pretty lavender peep toe pumps and carried a tightly formed bouquet of blush pink roses with leafy green collar created by Pat's Floral Design. Her bridesmaids wore wrap gowns in pale lavender fashioned in a variety of figure flattering styles, while the groomsmen wore black suits with white button downs and paired with striped ties to match the bridesmaids. Jon opted for a bit more formality with a black suit, white button down and black bowtie.

The ceremony and reception was held on the grounds of the Clifton Inn, where The Event Company created a colorful, relaxed event. A beautiful wood table set on the lawn with a trio of ivory birdcages to hold well wishes for the couple as well as cards. Small gathered arrangements in the vibrant purple and pink palette greeted guests on a distressed wooden table as they entered the reception tent. Each arrangement was labeled with the guests name and where they were to sit with a pretty tag written in fuchsia script. Guest tables were draped with brilliant white linens punctuated with colorful blooms in fuchsia and purple. Small aged mercury glass votives adorned the guest tables, while tall white pillar candles where intermixed with vibrant purple and fuchsia bouquets that decorated the long Viking-style head table. Gorgeous antique china in a pink and robins egg blue pattern trimmed in gold sat at each guests place setting with a crisp white linen napkin and menu in brilliant white adorned with the couple's initials in fuchsia.
