Real Wedding ~ Ashley and Will

Ashley and Will were married in Charleston, SC in a classic Southern affair photographed by Captured by Kate Photography. The wonderful team at WED designed the event in a fresh summery palette of soft pink, apricot, green, pale blues and cream. Ashley wore a beautiful Amsale gown with lace bodice and organza skirt, while her bridesmaids wore short flowing chiffon gowns in a brilliant pacific blue. The couple exchanged vows at the gorgeous Cathedral of St. John the Baptist followed by a reception at the historic Mills House Hotel. Cream linens draped over the tables, which were paired with mahogany chiavari chairs creating a contrast to the softness of the tablescape. WED created a mixture of centerpieces from low arrangements of hydrangea and roses to tall tumbling arrangements featuring hydrangea blossoms, roses and strands of dendrobium orchids set in tall silver engraved trumpet vases. White couches add some elegant soft seating that wrapped around a towering centerpiece of branches adorned with strands of hanging crystals. Don't miss a single detail, including the couple's incredible piped confection from Weddings Cakes by Jim Smeal and their getaway rickshaw decorated with a "Just Married," sign and strands of pale blue ribbon.
