Real Wedding ~ Shae and Brian
Shae and Brian married in a sophisticated rooftop affair at The Mint Museum in Charlotte, NC photographed by Kristin Vining Photography. Designed in a striking palette of fuchsia, black and white every detail of the event, including the couple's attire featured the bold color combination. Shae wore a strapless mermaid fitted gown with ruched bodice and tiered ruffled skirt from J. Major's that she paired with fuchsia heels, a chunky pearl necklace and a birdcage veil with floral and feather fascinator. Brian dressed in classic Rock n' Roll style with an all black suit with black button down that he paired with brilliant white suspenders and a necktie, finishing his look off with patent leather black and white dress shoes. The ceremony took place on the rooftop with views of the downtown Charlotte skyline where the celebration continued with the couple's first dance on the black and white checkerboard dance floor. Guests danced the night away to music by Split Second Sound until the night ended with Brian carrying Shae as they exited The Mint Museum with family and friends holding signs of well wishes to the happy couple. Paloma's Nest For the Gentlemen
One of our favorite wedding finds, Paloma's Nest has recently come out with a brand new collection of modern heirlooms and this time it's for the men with the For the Gentlemen collection. Comprised of cuff links, lapel pins and boutonniere tile's this new collection continues the concept of modern heirlooms with a collection of designs that is entirely for the groom and groomsmen on the wedding day. The new collection is a true marriage of wood and clay as Paloma's Nest designer, Caroline created the new collection in collaboration with her husband, Jose who brought his design talents and woodworking skills to this creative endeavour. We've completely fallen in love with the new line, especially the handcrafted initial inscribed cufflinks which would be the perfect wedding day gift to your groom. To see the entire For the Gentlemen collection, visit the Paloma's Nest website and start shopping for your modern heirloom!

Bridal Session ~ Julia
Earlier this week we posted Julia and James' amazing styled engagement session and now we have more from the incredible shoot with Julia's vintage inspired bridal session. We absolutely adore the idea of a bride taking her bridal session in a vintage gown and Julia did exactly that wearing her mother's wedding gown that looked stunning on the new bride. Wearing her engagement ring that features the diamond from James' late mother's wedding ring and dressed in her own mother's vintage gown, Julia looked absolutely breathtaking in this series of images captured by Ashley Maxwell Photography. With a few modern elements including her gold ballet flats and blush toned floral fascinator Julia gave the gown an updated look, while still keeping true to the gorgeous vintage design.

Real Wedding ~ Jennifer and Ryan
We couldn't wait to share Jennifer and Ryan's Charleston, SC wedding photographed by Gayle Brooker Photography. Inspired by the stunning water views of The Historic Rice Mill, the couple wanted their event designed around the cool colors and coastal surrounding of the venue. The talented Calder Clark Designs used the couple's inspiration to create a gorgeous reception designed in a palette of powder blue, khaki and ivory, using those tones throughout the decor and incorporating textiles and natural elements to achieve the look and feel. Utilizing both the indoor and outdoor space of the venue, tables were situated outside draped in powder blue linens with centerpieces of white hydrangea blooms, while an ivory canopy draped over the space and gathered on the sides by rope adding in small nautical elements to the decor. As guests entered the indoor space they walked through an incredible curly willow arbor created by Blossoms Events featuring the couple's custom monogram. Inside guest tables were draped in khaki linens with an ivory branch coral design. The tops of the tables were decorated with scattered groupings of linen and rope wrapped votives, hand blown glass balls and clear glass vases filled with fragrant calla lilies. Don't miss a single detail of Jennifer and Ryan's brilliant waterfront soiree!

E Session ~ Julia and James
Whether it was the snowy weather, the incredible selection of venues or the ridiculously cute styled wardrobe it's hard to pinpoint our favorite aspect of Julia and James' Illinois engagement session photographed by Ashley Maxwell Photography. A day in the countryside of Principia College roaming it's many acres provided an endless supply of beautiful imagery. We think the Julia's floral print dress, frilly apron and hair blossom may be our favorite look of the day with the couple playing house on the porch of an old abandoned home, but we can't decide - Julia and Jame's look fantastic in every image. To see more of Julia and Jame's engagement session, visit the Ashley Maxwell Photography blog and be sure to check back later this week on Completely Unveiled for Julia's gorgeous vintage inspired bridal session that was just too good that it needed it's own featured post!
