Real Wedding ~ Katie and Ashley

There are so many pretty details in Katie and Ashley's beautiful wedding at The Maple Grove Inn in Knoxville, TN, photographed by Dixie Pixel Photography. Katie wore a strapless gown with a beaded neckline and cascading, ruffled back for the ceremony and changed into a lovely lace party dress with a full dancing skirt for the reception. Designed in a palette based on a range of pink hues from blush to brilliant watermelon, the event decor featured a variety of vintage-inspired elements. Katie and Ashley exchanged vows in front of a lace and fabric covered backdrop, while floral arrangements made by Whimsical Gatherings were created using fluffy pink peonies and greenery displayed under apothecary and cloche bell jars and in vintage glass bottles, vases and cans. Vintage books were used as accents, in addition to vintage suitcases, painted wooden bock letters and aged picture frames. Magpies Bakery made a sweet display of miniature cupcakes and two different wedding cakes. One cake featured a paper cake topper of the bride, groom and their two dogs made by Etsy seller Concarta, while the other was topped by a Pennant with vintage thread spools made by Etsy seller The Dainty Woods. We always get excited when our good friend and photographer Adam Barnes sends us a wedding and Natalie and Matthew's Chestertown, Maryland at Running Fox was no exception. The beautiful countryside property created a lovely backdrop to the couple's sweet outdoor wedding documented beautifully in a series of stunning images from Adam Barnes. Natalie wore a soft flowing strapless gown she designed that she accessorized with a delicate cathedral length veil trimmed in lace and Champagne hued floral embellished heels. Set on the property's lawn the couple's reception was filled with inspiring details. From the framed silhouettes of the couple to the pretty milk glass centerpieces set on rattan charger bases, created by Severna Park Florist, we love the eclectic mix of vintage inspired details.
